I've been very lucky and have had only a few issues with my teeth requiring medical care, so choosing an office isn't based upon a specific dentist but rather the staff and dental hygienists. While there have been changes in both at this practice especially over the last few years, the continuity of care overall (along with the familiarity of a face or two behind the front desk) has been there - and that's what I look for. Though there are several dentists closer to my home, I will continue to make the trek to Mondovi Dental in Meredith twice a year.

When Dr. Felt and his crew were in charge, it was a great dentist. Since he left everything has gone downhill. I spent an entire week calling because I broke a tooth and got an answering machine each time. I finally got in to get a temporary crown put on and they told me to call if it fell off and they would put it back on. I had the misfortune to have it fall off on a Friday. I have called and left 4 messages on the emergency number which goes straight to voicemail and 3 days later, no call back. Meanwhile I have excruciating nerve pain in the ground off tooth. I called the main number and left three messages. SAVE YOURSELF - go somewhere else. I am seeking a new dentist as fast as I can.

Do not go here if you are a nervous dental patient. I admit I am not the easiest dental patient. I squirm like no ones business, and I can't help it. But the dental assistant here did not help me by shaming me, telling me it would all be easier if I did x y and z, telling the dentist that I am a "maniac" and I "need Valium". I am not great in the chair, but it is their job to deal with folks who have a hard time at the dentists. They were unprofessional, judgemental and flat out rude. Dr. Felt is kind, which is why this is 2 and not 1 stars, but I was shocked at the treatment I received from the dental assistant.
